It is crucial to use personal protective equipment (PPE), N95 or higher-level respirator, eye protection, gloves, and a gown.<\/li>\n<li>They should only use synthetic fiber swabs with plastic or wire shafts for not altering test results.<\/li>\n<li>After testing, the specimens can be kept at 2-8&deg;C for up to 72 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Results<\/h3>\n<p>The swab test for COVID-19 tests is done by using the RT-PCR technique.
