You may need this test if you:

✅ Have Symptoms Suggestive of a Viral Illness:

• Fever
• Fatigue
• Rash
• Sore throat
• Swollen lymph nodes
• Body aches
• Jaundice
• Unexplained weight loss
• Respiratory symptoms

✅ Are at High Risk of Exposure to Certain Viruses:

• Unprotected sexual contact
• Blood transfusions or organ transplants
• Intravenous drug use
• Healthcare workers (needle stick injuries)
• Pregnancy (to prevent congenital infections)
• People with weakened immune systems (e.g., HIV-positive, transplant recipients)
