CBC (Complete Blood Count) with PS (Peripheral Smear) Test Package in Bengaluru Overview

A CBC with Peripheral Smear is a common and important blood test that provides detailed information about your blood cells.

A CBC measures the number and types of cells in your blood, including:

  • Red Blood Cells (RBCs)
  • White Blood Cells (WBCs)
  • Platelets

In a peripheral smear, a drop of your blood is examined under a microscope by a trained technician or pathologist.

  • Color (e.g., hypochromic = pale, suggests iron deficiency)
