Frequently Asked Questions

The insulin serum postprandial test helps identify diabetes and insulin resistance by measuring blood insulin levels after a meal.

It is advised for people who exhibit signs of diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), or insulin resistance.

To determine postprandial insulin levels, a blood sample is obtained two hours after a meal.

Normal levels: Show a typical insulin response.

Increased levels: Indicate hyperinsulinemia or insulin resistance.

Low levels could be a sign of insufficient insulin.
