Acute Fever Panel

The Acute Fever Panel is a comprehensive molecular diagnostic test designed to identify multiple infectious organisms that commonly cause acute febrile illness from a single sample. Using Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) technology, the panel detects the genetic material of Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium ovale, Plasmodium malariae, Salmonella species, Leptospira, Dengue virus, and Chikungunya virus.
