Rotavirus Antigen Detection

This test detects rotavirus antigens in stool samples to diagnose rotavirus infections, a leading cause of severe diarrhea in infants and young children.

Rotavirus can cause dehydration and hospitalization in young children. Early diagnosis allows for timely treatment and isolation to prevent the spread of infection.
