Collection instructions

Test requisition form (TRF) should be filled with proper Patient Demographic Details: Name, Age, Sex, Date of Birth, Height and weight etc. Medication details, doctor name, contact number & clinical history should be noted/ attached with TRF. For analysis collect Mid -stream urine sample in a clean, leak proof sterile wide mouth container provided (Lab specified container). Do not accept out side container (other than Lab specified container). The specimen should be send immediately to the lab in cold condition, In case of delay of more than two hours, store sample in refrigerator. Ensure Proper labeling of the sample container. Do not transfer sample from container to false bottom tube for transportation. Minimum volume required to perform this assay is 10 ml. Sample should be free of fecal contamination and contain no bathroom tissue or other foreign materials.
