BETA HCG CSF

The Beta HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) test measures the levels of HCG hormone in blood or urine to confirm pregnancy and detect certain medical conditions.

Women who suspect pregnancy or individuals being evaluated for conditions such as ectopic pregnancy, trophoblastic disease, or testicular cancer should undergo this test.

A blood or urine sample is collected and analyzed for HCG levels. Blood tests provide quantitative results, while urine tests provide qualitative confirmation.

A positive result typically indicates pregnancy but may also signal abnormal conditions such as molar pregnancy or certain cancers.
