This test measures cyclosporine levels in the blood using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). It is used to monitor therapeutic drug levels in organ transplant patients to ensure optimal dosing and avoid toxicity.

Collection instructions
1. For testing trough level (C0) of Cyclosporine, the specimen should be collected before morning dose, 2. For testing peak level (C2) of Cyclosporine, the specimen has to be collected atleast 2 hrs after the last dose. 3. Require EDTA or Heparin whole blood to be collected directly in relevant vaccutainer only 4. Label time of collection and administration of drug, preferably with drug dose. 5. Mention Level C0 or C2, as it is mandatory for reporting ( Trough or Peak) 6. Doctor name and contact details required. 7. Clinical history is mandatory. 8. Storage Temperature 2-8ºC
