MRD by NGS Test in Vadodara Overview

What is MRD BY NGS test?

MRD by NGS test detect extremely low levels of measurable residual disease (MRD) - tiny amounts of cancer cells remaining in the body after treatment, especifically in hematological (blood) cancers. By highly sensitively sequencing cancer-related genes, the test identifies residual disease that may be undetectable by other methods, providing valuable prognostic information, predicting relapse risk, and guiding personalized treatment decisions for patients with conditions like acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

Why consider MRD BY NGS test?

Clinicians should consider MRD by NGS test because

  • Complies to ELN 2021 MRD guidelines
  • DNA and RNA analysis: Comprehensive detection of genetic abnormalities.
  • Error-corrected sequencing: Ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
  • Unprecedented high depth of sequencing for confident detection.
  • Lower limit of detection: 0.1% VAF.

Who should get this MRD BY NGS test?

MRD by NGS test is Relevant for all categories of myeloid neoplasms, including AML, MDS, and MPN.

  • Enhanced Patient Outcomes - Accurate MRD detection for informed treatment decisions.
  • Improved Disease Monitoring - Sensitive detection of residual disease for effective surveillance

More Information about MRD BY NGS test

MRD refers to persistence of leukemic or malignant cells at levels below morphologic detection during or after therapy, increasingly termed “measurable residual disease” instead of “minimal.”

It is a powerful prognostic marker used mainly in blood cancers to assess response quality, relapse risk, and to help guide therapy decisions.

Other Names: Minimal Residual Disease, Measurable Residual Disease, MRD, MRD panel test, MRD by NGS test, MRD testing, MRD assessment, MRD assay, NGS MRD
