COMPREHENSIVE RHINITIS ASTHMA MINI PANEL

The Comprehensive Rhinitis Allergy Panel is a blood-based test designed to identify specific allergens that may be triggering symptoms of rhinitis. Rhinitis, often characterized by nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose, can be caused by allergic reactions to various environmental triggers. This panel tests for common allergens such as pollen, dust mites, mold, pet dander, and other inhalants.

 A blood sample is collected and analyzed for the presence of allergen-specific IgE antibodies using immunoassay methods. The test checks the immune system’s sensitivity to multiple allergens that commonly contribute to allergic rhinitis.

The test results show whether a person has elevated levels of IgE antibodies specific to any tested allergens. A positive result indicates sensitization to that allergen, which may be causing rhinitis symptoms.
