CLONE DETECT Test in Mangaluru Overview

What is Clone Detect test?

Clone Detect is a baseline, patient-specific clonotype discovery assay that uses diagnostic bone marrow DNA to identify dominant immunoglobulin gene rearrangements (IGH, IGK, IGL) for subsequent MRD tracking. It generates a unique molecular fingerprint of the malignant clone, enabling personalized, highly sensitive monitoring over time.

Why consider Clone Detect test?

Clone Detect test is considered as

  • Establishes the necessary patient-specific target for MRD tracking, a prerequisite for precise, longitudinal disease assessment.
  • Improves downstream care by enabling sensitive detection of residual disease, earlier relapse signals, and data-driven therapy decisions.

Who should get this Clone Detect test?

  • Newly diagnosed patients with plasma cell or B‑cell malignancies at baseline, including multiple myeloma, B‑ALL, and mantle cell lymphoma.
  • Patients planned for MRD-guided management across induction, consolidation, transplant, and maintenance phases.

More Information about Clone Detect test

MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) monitoring is a highly sensitive test used to detect very small numbers of cancer cells that remain in a patient after treatment, even when they appear to be in remission by conventional methods.

OTHER NAMES: Baseline clonotype profiling, MRD baseline clonotype identification, ClonoSeq, MRD monitoring
