Cyclin-D1 is a protein involved in cell cycle regulation, and its overexpression is often seen in mantle cell lymphoma and other cancers. This test is used to diagnose and evaluate the prognosis of mantle cell lymphoma. Cyclin-D1 is also important in assessing other B-cell neoplasms.
