Interpretation of Vitamin D Plus Test in Howrah:

Common causes of hypocalcemia (decreased value of calcium) are chronic renal failure, hypomagnesemia and hypoalbuminemia. Common causes of hypercalcemia (increased value of calcium) are increased intestinal absorption (Vitamin D intoxication), increased skeletal reabsorption (immobilization), or a combination of mechanisms (primary hyperparathyroidism).
