Ild Total Package in New Delhi Overview
What is ILD TOTAL (RH,ANA REF,ANTI CCP,CRP,ACE,H test?
The ILD TOTAL test is a blood test panel designed to help in the screening and evaluation of Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) — a group of lung disorders that cause inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) of lung tissue.
This ILD TOTAL test detects key autoimmune and inflammatory markers that can indicate whether the ILD is due to an underlying autoimmune disease, infection, or other systemic condition.
Why consider ILD TOTAL (RH,ANA REF,ANTI CCP,CRP,ACE,H test?
You should consider this ILD TOTAL test to:
- Identify the cause of interstitial lung disease or pulmonary fibrosis.
- Detect autoimmune or inflammatory activity affecting the lungs.
- Differentiate between idiopathic ILD and ILD secondary to autoimmune or allergic diseases.
- Guide treatment decisions by identifying whether immunosuppressive therapy or exposure avoidance is needed.
It is a cost-effective and focused alternative to the more extensive Comprehensive ILD Screen Panel.
Who should get this ILD TOTAL (RH,ANA REF,ANTI CCP,CRP,ACE,H test?
This ILD TOTAL test is recommended for individuals with:
- Chronic dry cough or shortness of breath unexplained by other causes.
- Abnormal chest X-ray or HRCT scan suggesting interstitial lung changes.
- Suspected autoimmune or connective tissue disease with lung involvement.
- Clinical suspicion of sarcoidosis, rheumatoid arthritis–associated ILD, or hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
- History of exposure to environmental or occupational irritants causing lung inflammation.

OTHER NAMES: ILD Screening Profile, Autoimmune and Inflammatory ILD Panel, Interstitial Lung Disease Evaluation Panel
Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) is a broad term for a group of more than 200 lung disorders that cause inflammation and scarring (fibrosis) of the lung’s interstitium — the thin tissue around the air sacs (alveoli).
This scarring makes the lungs stiff and less able to expand, leading to breathing difficulty and reduced oxygen exchange.
Causes of ILD
ILD can be caused by several factors, including:
- Autoimmune diseases: Rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, lupus
- Chronic infections: Tuberculosis, fungal infections
- Environmental or occupational exposure: Moldy hay, silica, asbestos, bird droppings
- Medications or radiation therapy
- Idiopathic (unknown cause): Known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
- Sarcoidosis or hypersensitivity pneumonitis
