TTG Advanced (Neo Epitopes)

This test measures antibodies against tissue transglutaminase (tTG) neoepitopes, which are more specific markers for celiac disease.

It helps in the diagnosis of celiac disease with improved specificity, especially in ambiguous cases or those on a gluten-free diet.

A blood sample is tested using advanced immunoassays that target neoepitopes of the tTG protein.

Positive results indicate an immune reaction to gluten and support the diagnosis of celiac disease. Negative results may rule it out.

Patients should ideally be on a gluten-containing diet before the test for accurate results.
